stans daughtes wedding card

Wedding card made for my mate's Stan & Jan to give to their daughter & her husband too be.


this is another easel card (becoming a fast favorite to make with me) with the base card in a plum colour, the front of the card has a glittered velum with matching purple glitter paper on top.
the 'A' & 'M' (the groom & brides initals) are cut out in purple mirri card with plum card and then deep purple fabric paper on top.
5 punched flowers (doubled up and curled with a embossing tool) finished off with a gem in the middle, on both of the letters.

I used peel offs for the brides dress and the grooms suit, the dress is on glittered velum and the suit on grey card. (the bow tie is white card)

silver swirl peel off around the top and left side.

wedding car is made with purple & plum card from a sizzex die cut with my big shot. (have swapped the boot lid and the back window for contrast. the lights have been filled with liquid pearl. the tin cans are on silver string (the get punched with the same die)

I would like to enter this card into the M.S.E making card comp (easel cards)

The wedding is in early October and I wish the bride and groom many years of happyness.

Kelly's 21st...

well has been a while since Iv blogged.... and Iv been saving this card for a while.. (those on mse have seen it).. this is the card I made for my neice for her 21st birthday, this is the box..

the top of the box is made from purple stock card edged with deep purple ink. (I got the shape from the main card) the purple card is layerd on to white card with matching shaped edge. in the corners of the white card is white punched lace with pink velvet ribbon. in the corner of the purpe card are hand made rose's with leaves. in the middle of the lid is a deep purple scolloped punched circle topped with a white circle topped with a smaller circle that match's the lid, sentiment stamped in the middle 'wishing you a DAy Full of Happiness whishing you'. this is finished off with pink pearl dots.

The card is a easel fold card topped with a magnolia stamped image, this has been coloured with pro-markers. this has been cut on my big shot with a scolloped die. this has been topped on to pale pink paper from stock, then on to deep purple card. the topper has been placed in the top middle of the easel, the backing paper is floral embossed paper from the hobby craft store (I realy should try and remember to write down the makers of these things...)

also on the front of the card is more hand made flowers in pink & purple with ribbon leaves. these have been attached with gel glue. (if any one wants tips on how to make the flowers feel free to ask..(but I did find out how via google..)) the same sentiment is on the card as on the box lid.

I was realy happy with this card. A truely stunning card even if I do say so myself.. (why not ring my own bell eh)

My neice was very happy when she received the card (happy 21st Kelly).

m.s.e.... first comp card

card made just for the m.s.e card comp (animals) A4 cream card folded to A5, half covered in pink & purple flower paper, the other half is pale yellow flower paper. seperated with cream ribbon. the main image is a bear in a bath with lots of bubbles (stickels for bling) sentement 'take a little time out'....

Well what a way to spend a birthday... at work making cards... can't be bad eh..
and this is 2 of the 3 cards I'v made..

The 1st is an Anniversary card for my Hubby Pete.. we've been married for 21yrs today.
I used an A4 cream glossy base card folded, I then turned the top right corner over and covered that with wedding velum, trimmed around the edge with gold & red glitter card. then placed fabric hearts at the corners.

the main image is from the s.w.a.l.k range. stamped with memento and coloured with promarkers. then layered on to gold mirri card and gold mesh fabric. across the bottom is gold mirri card with red heart ribbon, with pink paper. behind the folded corner is more wedding velum back with gold mirri card edged with more red & gold glitter card and fabric hearts...

happy Anniversary my darling Pete.. Love you... (too much mush?? sorry)

The second card is for Tina, one of the women I work for, I know I have mentioned her before, but Tina was born without limbs.. not that it stops her from doing much... she's very smart! (too smart for her own good some days).... love u bean xx

anyway this card is for her....

Image is a sara kay, coloured with promarkers, matt n layered onto purple & lilac card then strippy paper. this colour wise is copied to the side strip which has white 'bow' ribbon down the middle..

James' Bike Card

Birthday card for my brother, James. He, like myself, loves motor bikes (I am in need of a new bike..)
the main topper is from a magazine (mens cards) the backing paper I made with my bigshot. The bike at the bottom is decopaged, I bought this from a market (there are 3 diffent bikes on the sheet)
The wheel tread is also from the magazine, all layered onto black mirri card.

Fairy Dreams card.
I made this card for one of the women I work for (TinaBeana) ((have I said what I do for a living, cant remember...))
This card was made for her mum, I will post details on what I used later tomorrow (at work now so dont have the info at hand)

What I do for a living... (because iv been told so mannnnyyyy times its not work lol) I work as a private carer for two disabled females, Tina was born with not arms or legs (dont feel sorry for her, she doesnt) she is one of the most amazing people I know (and she's funny), Janice (like off of waterloo Rd not off friends) has '??' (sorry nice) I always forget what it is... but she's special lol.. and I love them both xx

well sat at work and have made this for my neice-in-law's new baby boy. Kayden Christopher James. welcome to the world lil man xx

This is an exploding card (looks like a xmas cracker) the 2 side panels have been covered in white & blue dotty card with paper printed from the popcorn the bear platnum CD matt & layered on to contrasting card.

the side triangles are covered in blue & white dotty paper also with paper from the CD.
the centre panel is covered in more dotty card with 'baby boy' paper from my stash. with popcorn the bear stamped with memento, coloured with promarkers. finished off with a bow from the stash.
Tomorrow I have to make a card for my brother (into motorbikes) so already have a theme in mind. going to go for black & white I think....

has been an interesting few days for me, yesterday I met with a hypnotist to help me keep losing weight and get more motivated on the excersie side... was very interesting meeting... learnt a few things about myself that I knew but was not admiting.... have another meeting on friday so will see how that one goes....
will keep you posted on that...
